I would like to start the article with a hearty congratulations to Arvind Kejriwal and team for their stunning debut. Now since I have done my part can I be excused from everyday PR gimmicks of this AAP party and the whole media going gaga over any silliest of the comment by any person with AAP cap. Can I be spared from the crude language of AAP leaders against the other parties. Ok, i guess not. I will have to bear it for few more months till the general election is over. In the meantime i can try to analyse the spectacular show of AAP in Delhi and agenda and manifesto of AAP. So what was behind AAP’s spectacular show
1) Obviously it got headstart with the legacy of Anna movement in Delhi which witnessed record turnout. Even though Anna openly opposed Kejri’s decision of party making but still people believed on the person.
2) Indecisiveness of BJP till last moment : Delay in declaring Dr Harsh as CM candidate by 3-4 months costed atleast 5-6 seats to BJP. Take any measure and Dr Harsh has cleaner image than Shri Kejrival. Obviously the 7 yrs of corruption in MCD by BJP just helped AAP to gain advantage.
3) CON’s outright support to AAP : Immediately after the result Sheila ji (who might be as corrupt as portrayed by AAP but still has more political acumen than most of politicians) said that we lost because of no support from centre. does it ring the bell? ok, the first election of AAP and 1000s of booth but every booth had full booth management team from AAP but not from CON. Booth management is operational part of election and a party learns through it and this is executed by back end team of the party which needs lot of infrastructural support. It was not possible for an yr old party to execute it without support of technical team from an established party. It has been very clearly established that booth management was the key for win of AAP. all prediction after first half of election was around 15 seats for AAP but chanakya predicted 29 seats after the full election. there was long que at most of the booths at 5:30 pm. Where was CON booth management team? they were not available. if we all agree that paid media works for CON then how and why are they going ga ga over every remark of AK. there were significantly bigger wins in other state but did anyone see the winning celebration of any other state. Any live telecast of celebration of second biggest party ever by any media house? If we read CNN journos tweet and articles, all of them going all the way out to support AK before election. if best prediction was giving them 10-12 seats then why would all channel give all its coverage to AAP?
Now the question is, why would CON support AAP to ensure its loss? everyone knew that CON is going to loose Delhi. The anti incumbency against center was so strong that CON had no hopes. If we all knew this, then obviously CON also knew this fact. They decided to capitalize on the loss. If AAP wins the election, it will become a phenomenon for urban areas of India where the major vote for BJP comes. If AAP can cut some of anti incumbency votes of CON and BJP looses 20-30 seats which they would have won by margin of less than 10000, the job is done.Simply put CON chose Delhi from possible 20 seats to 8 seats so that nationally BJP can loose 25 potential LS seat. 25 LS seat would mean no BJP govt, who is currently looking as just somehow will manage to cross 272 with all current and potential allies. CON can try its old strategy of supporting 3rd/4th front from outside for 2 yr and then withdraw support at opportune time to come back to power. Having said that, i would like to maintain that as per my best understanding, this is one way love and AAP is not directly dealing with CON. CON is just extending covert support to ensure 10K to 20K vote being cut from BJP in urban constituency. At the same time we might see CON attacking on AAP also to ensure that AAP does not grow out of size.
Now on the policies of AAP :
I think assessment of AK by his own mentor Anna was bang on. “Arvind has no hunger of money but he might be hungry of power. Arvind is very honest but people around him are not honest” I will not go on character assassination of every core member but i would recommend everyone to read about everyone of them individually before they joined AAP. leaders to know about are Shazia Ilmi, prashant Bhushan, Binayak Sen, Kumar Vishwas, Yogendra Yadav. I dont have much information about Manish Sisodia so will not include him in the list of controversial core team.
On the party policies , we have seen across the world that leftist policies has never led to prosperity in a country. It is the secret mantra for collective poverty. Anti corruption slogan is not the solution of India’s poverty. On specific policies
1) 50% electricity bill : As shared by the companies that 90% of the cost of electricity is the rate at which they buy electricity from govt company. So either you will have to increase the rate or you will subsidise consumer by paying 50% to these private companies from state’s coffer. Any economist will tell that subsidy on electricity/fuel oils is the worst thing you can do to the economy.
2) No FDI : There was Indira Gandhi era of worst economic growth. 1991 we reached to the level of bankruptcy. That is when we opened the market to FDI and somehow saved the nation. Sri Sri Kejriwal ji seems to like the bankrupt India and thatswhy taking India back to 70s and 80s.
3) BJP CON are bhai bhai : Whenever you talk to any AAP supporter about why Kejriwal keeps abusing every party without any logic or agenda. Answer is CON and BJP are brother and both are equally corrupt and AAP is the only true avatar of honesty on earth. So lets find out the charges against BJP that CON is helping to hide.First of all the AAP supporter with jump with “Nitin Gadkari even after all corruption charges is still senior party member of BJP”. So what is the actual charge against Gadkari. Nitin Gadkari was exposed by Anjali Damania and Mayank Gandhi charging Gadkari for irrigation scam. Every kid of Maharashtra knows that irrigation scam is Pawar’s inhouse scam but his name was not even mentioned. As proof of land grabbing a witness was produced who later on accepted in front of media that AAP leader Mayank Gandhi and Anjali Damania tutored him for wrong statement. AAP formed internal Lokpal to investigate the case. who was the lokpal, what was verdict, how his unbiased investigation ensured, no one knows. But, Mayank Gandhi is core team of AAP and Anjali Damania is getting ticket from AAP for LS. For detailed information and how AAP misled the nation, refer the article

4) Other proofs of CON support to BJP : We all know how Modi is getting harassed with all the false cases by CON and caged parrot. The way paid media is working overtime to latch on to any statement made against Modi is for public to see. While Amartya Sen was telecasted day and night across channel because he opposed Modi, there was no mention of Amartya Sen opposing UPA govt also. No mention of Jagdish Bhagwati who openly discussed how UPA is taking India to economic disaster. So obviously, CON and BJP are bhai bhai. wait a minute, isnt the same media going ga ga over AAP also. So if media works only when paid by CON then who is paying for AAP. who is bhai bhai of CON. And just to end, it would be helpful for everyone to understand the history of Yogendra Yadav who is the core member of AAP and decides all the policy.
5) Secular credential of AAP : AK meeting the Muslim cleric who announced Fatwa against Taslima Nasreen. Surprisingly the same cleric is part of CON team and has always asked his supporter to vote for CON and again asked to vote for CON after Delhi election but in Delhi election he supported Kejriwal in front of Digvijay Singh. AK wrote letter to vote, not to Indian but one religion. One can read the letter to understand how different is AAP from CON for appeasement
6) Anti India stand of AAP : Kashmir POV of co founder of AAP is well known. AAP core team fought for Batla encounter to call it fake and get the IM terrorist free and call Mohan chand a traitor. Ideological mentor of AAP and anti Indian Maoist who are killing our CRPF and Police every day is same person i.e. Binayak Sen . Anyone ever saw AAP criticizing Maoist attack on our CRPF. AAP core member had just protested against our own patriotic and brave army all the time. AAP core members signed petition to save parliament attack convict afzal guru. Shazia Ilmi is member of SFI which is front face of SIMI.
To end with, I have only one recommendation to AAP. Abusing all politician without any specific fact is reserved for common man only. We liked you abusing them when you were IAC but now you are a political party. We would like to see policy based opposition to any party. But explain, your view and why someone’s view is wrong. If you are right on the point, we all will support you but stop all these PR gimmicks. We have seen enough of it from CON so we can be fooled by it for a few days or few election but we will know the real face behind it.
